I'm trying to decide whether to sink 100% of my energy into my art and doing conventions starting in 2011. On the one hand, I've got a part time job that, while it cuts into the time I have with my daughter, brings in a little spending money. On the other, it's so part time it's almost silly to drive 25 minutes to get there, work 3 hours, then drive 25 minutes back home. I could spend those 6 hours a week producing more artwork.

The plan is to do my first convention in March in Cherry Hill at Monster Mania. I'm excited about the prospect but on edge because of the details. Luckily, we have family not far from the convention site who could help hubby keep an eye on the little one while I work my table. But these are long days, and she's on a strict schedule, so it might be difficult to adhere to that...it's a bit of a worry.

My business cards are done and look fabulous. My husband, being the thoughtful and sweet guy he is, framed them for me so I would have a set of them forever. Now I have to hit the printer's and have my prints and postcards made up. That should be happening this week or next. I have a little sumpin' sumpin' happening here at the end of October for which I will require prints, so may as well stock up for MM con while I'm at it, to get the printing discount and all.

Also plan on working on some of my zombie pillow dolls when I have some time. They're going to be hand sewn, so they'll take awhile to create, but I'm hoping to have a couple done by the start of next year. We'll see!
